About Me
Kelly Abbe (she/her) is an energy and sound healing practitioner, ordained minister, spiritual and life coach, and singer/songwriter. Her path started into the holistic world in 2012 when she was first introduced to energy medicine. She sees folks individually for synergy sessions which combine Reiki, energy medicine, sound healing practices, and spiritual guidance to assist others to heal emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. She also conducts group sound baths. Both her synergy sessions and sound baths incorporate a wide variety of instruments such as gongs, chimes, singing bowls, strings, drums, and more to guide the participant into a deeper state of consciousness. This meditative state can be a wonderful avenue for awareness, self-discovery, and healing.
Kelly has a strong pull on her heart for the LGBTQ+ community and other marginalized communities. She has personally experienced church trauma, high conflict relationships, and parental rejection. Throughout the years she has healed much of this trauma with energy work, sound healing, and finding a community of like-minded folks. She has recently come back to her lifelong passion of singing and songwriting. She put down her guitar over two decades ago because of how intertwined it was with her church trauma. In 2023, she picked it up again and began to write about her experiences. Many of her songs are about social justice and church hurt. Through the expression of song, she has been healing the trauma that held her back for so long.

Kelly is a strong advocate for creating a wellness community that reflects everyone. Many times, the wellness community only represents a small fraction of the actual community. She believes diversity in all aspects is imperative and wants to make sure that services are equitable for all. Her passion is actively engaging a wide range of folks and to forge relationships with other practitioners to elevate the community.

She is currently in the Master Gardener program for Forsyth County and is also training to be certified as a therapeutic horticulturist through the NC Botanical Gardens and NC State extension. She is looking forward to incorporating therapeutic horticulture practices into her wellness services in the future.
When not working, she is enjoying her time with her wife, 2 kids, 4 dogs, and bearded dragon. She enjoys hiking, biking, camping, rockhounding, and kayaking. She is an avid vegetable gardener and naturalist. You can also find her playing her original music at local venues.
